The fire-safe high performance butterfly valve is engineered with two distinct seats to ensure optimal functionality. The primary seat material is RPTFE (Reinforced Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene), which enables the valve to achieve a tight shut off, effectively preventing any leakage. This soft seat material not only offers excellent sealing properties but also enhances the valve's overall performance. Additionally, the valve is equipped with a fire-safe seat made of metal. This secondary seat provides enhanced resistance to high temperatures and can withstand the rigorous conditions of a fire incident. The combination of the RPTFE soft seat and the fire-safe metal seat guarantees reliable performance in both normal and emergency situations, making this valve an ideal choice for applications where safety and efficiency are paramount.
